New Airline Coming To Mexico
Lineas Aereas Azteca, a new Mexican airline, is expected to launch on 15 January 2001.
The carrier will operate on routes formerly held by the now defunct TAESA and may re-employ some TAESA staff.
Azteca will have a fleet of some 17 Boeing 737-300 aircraft from late 1Q'2001, which is expected to allow the re-employment of more than 2,000 ex-TAESA staff according to El Economista.
